The rainbow k-connection number ofG, denoted by rck(G), is the minimum number of colors needed for which there exists a rainbow k-connected coloring for G. In this paper, we are able to find sharp lower and upper bounds for the rainbow 2-connection number of Cartesian products of arbitrary 2-connected graphs and paths. We also determine the rainbow 2-connection number of the Cartesian products of some graphs, i.e. complete graphs, fans, wheels, and cycles, with paths.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]2-Connected graph,Cartesian product,Rainbow 2-connectivity,Rainbow path[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]This research is partially supported by Indonesian Directorate General of Higher Education.
