These islands are mountainous with dense rainforests. This geographical condition leads to the digital divide between urban areas with rural or remote areas. A government body provides internet access services for the frontier, outermost, and least developed regions to minimize the digital divide. This research proposes the application to determine the travel duration of logistics delivery as one of the tolerance factors in service level calculation. The application uses several APIs and libraries in Google Maps Platform to determine the optimum route and mode of transport between a remote site to the province’s capital, e.g. Directions API, Geocoding API, and Places API. The application has functionally complied with the objective: handles different input types, determine the optimum route, write the optimum route for all sites in the input file into an output file (.xlsx or.csv), and display the optimum route for a manually inputted site.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Developed regions,Digital divide,Geographical conditions,Internet access services,Logistics delivery,Mode of transport,Service levels,Tolerance factor[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Directions API,Geocoding API,Google Maps Platform,Places API,travel distance, travel duration[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ICWT50448.2020.9243613[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
