In some densely populated areas, the communications are using cell phones that connected to the telecommunication operators’ networks. Nevertheless, most of the oil palm plantation in Indonesia is located in rural and remote areas which lack of network services. With OWNGrid product, we expect that it can be used as a long-range communication device alternative for oil palm plantations. OWNGrid uses LoRa technology as base and smartphone with specific android apps for chatting service. Hopefully, it can help in improving the efficiency and effectiveness during oil palm harvest.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Communications equipment,Functionality tests,Long-range communications,LoRA,Network services,Oil palm plantations,Rural and remote areas,Telecommunication operators[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]LoRA,Oil palm plantations area,Rural area[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]ACKNOWLEDGMENT This work is part of the project entitled “Sistem Komunikasi Data Jarak Jauh untuk Komunikasi Nelayan”, which was funded by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (KEMENRISTEK-DIKTI) for the decentralization scheme with Grant Number 009/SP2H/LT/DRPM/IV/2017.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ICICTR.2018.8706854[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
