Pte. Ltd.Recent progress and achievements in the research on the Maritime Continent monsoon are reviewed by focusing on the studies reported in the last five years or so. The progress has been promoted by the advancement of computing facilities for data analysis and numerical simulations, technical innovations in observations, and well-designed numerical experimentations for better understanding.
