All rights reserved. In search of the semiconducting property, we compare the width and thickness by the general ratio of 7 to 1 of the hexagonal and triangular flake with disordered edge atomic addition as if grown by CVD, while maintaining the sublattice symmetry. The band gaptrend within the order of 0.1 eV is also generally decreasing with increasing width in a decreasing exponential pattern. The disordered edge effect in the flake asymmetry plays a considerable role in creating semiconducting properties through bandgap opening with midgap states identified in a projected density of states that enhance the material transport and magnetism properties.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]Band gap,Cutoff radii,Disordered edges,Graphene flake,Pseudopotential[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]The authors gratefully acknowledge RISTEK DIKTI or Ministry of Research and Technology and Higher Education for the research funding with contract number: 01/E/KPT/2018.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1016/j.matpr.2019.03.196[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
