COVID-19 Vaccine Education as Anticipation of the Spread of Hoax in the Community
Vaccines are one of the main efforts made in suppressing the transmission of COVID-19, by generating group immunity in the community. Several types of vaccines used in Indonesia are vaccines that have been approved by WHO and have been shown to be safe and effective in protecting their recipients. In addition, it has also gone through clinical trials from various related institutions in Indonesia. Through cooperation between various parties, the Vaccine program began to be intensified in various regions and in all levels of society.
However, currently, the Vaccine program in Indonesia is faced with many obstacles, one of which is the problem of spreading hoaxes or news about vaccines that can mislead the public so that vaccine absorption has not yet reached the National Vaccination Target.
How is the public’s reaction in responding to the spread of hoaxes regarding vaccines and the COVID-19 pandemic? What is the impact of spreading hoaxes or news that is not guaranteed to be true? Then how about the Covid-19 Vaccine education efforts that can be done to the public?
