The Global Young Scientists Summit (GYSS) 10th Edition

The National Research Foundation Singapore (NRF) is holding the 10th edition of The Global Young Scientists Summit (GYSS) which will be held from January 18 to d. January 21, 2022.

GYSS is an annual meeting of researchers and technology experts from various scientific disciplines from various countries. The speakers at this event included Nobel Prize recipients, field medals (field medal), Millennium Technology Prize and Turing Award.

Given the current pandemic situation, GYSS 2022 will be conducted online and has received confirmation from 15 key world speakers. This meeting will discuss the latest issues of science, research, and technology comprehensively and intensively, in addition to expanding the collaboration between world researchers.

The GYSS committee invites young researchers from Indonesia to participate in this event, with the following conditions:

  • 5 researchers as participants; and
  • 5 researchers as viewers.
    Participants can discuss informally in various small groups with speakers who have been prepared according to the topic of discussion. In addition, various short videos about research will be shown which will become scientific and research competitions with attractive prizes.

The requirements for participating in the GYSS are undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, or young post-doctoral researchers. In addition, you must not be more than 35 years old, have an interest in science and research, be proposed by an organization or university, have the ability to speak English, and have never participated in GYSS activities before. Announcement of acceptance of GYSS participants will be made in mid-August 2021, while the announcement of participant selection results will be in October 2021.
