Abstract

The boundary element formulation for elastoplastic analysis of shear deformable shells is presented. The numerical implementation is achieved using quadratic elements and domain integrals due to the shell curvature are transformed to the boundary. The integrals involving plastic region are computed using internal cells. © 2012 Elsevier Ltd.
