ITB-UGM Joint Summer Course on Bioceramics and Tissue Engineering 09 – 20 July 2019, Call for Participants.
Bioceramic has been widely use as a material for medical. Recently, Nanotechnology for biomaterial including bioceramic has been studied intensively. Through this summer course with theme “Basic and Applied Nanotechnology in Bioceramics for Health and Life Sciences”, Universitas Gadjah Mada collaborating with Research Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of Institut Teknologi Bandung (RCNN ITB) aims to educate young scientist in a course and forum that brings together researchers and clinicians to strengthen knowledge (while developing networking) to learn about fundamental, strategy, methods including the latest advancements in the field of tissue engineering and bioceramics research and their medical applications.
The course will be transferable and equivalent to 3 credit units. During the course, participants will also be introduced to the richness of Indonesian culture. Participants will also enjoy the travelling by train from Yogyakarta to Bandung. The course will be jointly organized with 2 days Travel with Bioceramics Scholars wherein participants will have a journey to beautiful places rich with natural resources and discuss about the potential of the natural resources to be explored for education, research and other scientific purposes.
