Smart City Solutions From Finland
Business Finland together with the Embassy of Finland in Malaysia and the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) invites you to join this webinar on 9 December, 2021 at 15:00 to hear about business opportunities and case examples in Smart City solutions that Malaysia has to offer Finnish companies.
Developing smart and resource-efficient solutions is a global challenge, but also one that the Finnish society has extensive expertise in resolving. The limited population and harsh weather conditions have forced Finns to be innovative for generations, and those innovations have laid the groundwork for groundbreaking solutions in making human living environments smarter and more sustainable. These solutions highlight advanced concepts for city planning, sustainable and smart living, energy efficiency, and smart mobility services integrated with modern ICT technologies. A sustainably built environment also includes advanced waste management, lighting and recycling.
A smart city uses digital solutions to improve performance, livability and well-being of its citizens. New technology and data is used for solving the cities’ economic, social and environmental challenges, also improving governance. Finnish towns and cities are global leaders in these achievements.
