The robot needs to fulfill each command which is given by the user to get the object in a specific location. To achieve this mission, the robot needs intermediate points called waypoints to move from its current coordinate to the next coordinate until the robot reaches the goal position. In this research, based on the current robot’s and the targeted object coordinates, the A-star algorithm was being used to find the shortest path. The goal in this research is the robot may approach the targeted object and reroute if the robot missed the target or moving away from its waypoints. The A-star algorithm can be successfully applied in this system. With the addition of a rerouting feature, the robot was able to find a new route if the robot suddenly moved by the user or if the robot accidentally walked outside the waypoints.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Author keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]A-Star algorithm,A-star search algorithm,Humanoid robot,Indoor environment, rerouting,Shortest path,Specific location,Targeted objects[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Indexed keywords” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]A-star,humanoid robot, navigation, path planning,rerouting[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”Funding details” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]ACKNOWLEDGMENT This work was supported by Bandung Institute of Technology, Program of Post Graduate Team Research 2018, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of The Republic of Indonesia.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][vc_empty_space][megatron_heading title=”DOI” size=”size-sm” text_align=”text-left”][vc_column_text]https://doi.org/10.1109/ICSIGSYS.2019.8811093[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]Widget Plumx[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator css=”.vc_custom_1624528584150{padding-top: 25px !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
