Post-doctoral Program Batch 3 BRIN 2022

(For research activity started on 1 February – 1 May 2023)

Description

This Post-doctoral program is a program for developing human resource capacity through the mobility of researchers in the form of collaborative research at BRIN, for Indonesian citizens or foreigners who have just completed their higher education doctoral program.

Objectives

To improve the competence of human resource researchers so as to contribute to improving the national research and innovation climate through increasing the number of publications in high-reputation scientific journals, innovative products, and establishing national or international research collaborations.

General Requirements

Indonesian citizens or foreign nationals, other than ASN BRIN;
Maximum 5 (five) years after graduating from Doctoral education;
Have experience and expertise relevant to the chosen topic of expertise, and evidence of a track record (portfolio) of research and innovation activities;
Foreign nationals are required to obtain an immigration permit in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws.
Sign the commitment document for the implementation of the Post-doctoral program.

Duration

The program will be held for 1 year and can be extended for 1 more year based on the evaluation results by the Directorate of Talent Management, National Research and Innovation Agency.

Incentives

Participants of the programs would be given living allowance incentives. The amount of the incentives is determined in accordance with the provisions of the legislation.

Output

The expected output for Post-doctoral participants is to produce 2 (two) scientific publications in highly reputable global indexed journals per year. Highly reputable global indexed journals are equivalent to the Scopus index in quartiles 1 and 2.

Rights and Obligations

Post-doctoral participants have the right to:

Get incentives according to the regulations.
Using equipment and facilities in accordance with the scope of research activities carried out by the host research group.
Propose an extension of the activity period.
Post-doctoral participants have the obligation to:

Participants are required to carry out research activities in accordance with their field of expertise, in the research group at the research center location at BRIN, for the duration as stipulated in the Decree of the Deputy for Human Resources, Science and Technology, National Research and Innovation Agency.
Participants must tap attendance on the information system every working day at the beginning and end of working hours.
Participants are required to upload reports on activities or research progress on the information system at the end of each month.
Participants are required to upload the final report on research activities and evidence of research output on the information system at the end of the Post-doctoral program implementation.
